- SPRBL1-16-R-0021 AMENDMENT 0001 SPRBL1-16-R-0021 Amendment 0001 dated 05 MAY 2016 revises the AN/ASN-157 Doppler Navigation Set (DNS) combined spares procurement and repair services solicitation closing date to 27 MAY 2016. This synopsis is modified 24 February 2016 to change the anticipated date for issuance of the solicitation. The request for proposal for the AN/ASN-157 Doppler Navigation Set (DNS) combined spares procurement and repair services contract is anticipated to be on or around 4 March 2016. DLA Land at Aberdeen anticipates issuance of a request for proposal (RFP) on or around 16 November 2015, for an AN/ASN-157 Doppler Navigation Set (DNS) combined spares procurement and repair services contract. The DNS is a key sensor component used to provide highly accurate, three-dimensional velocity and navigation data on various aircraft platforms, including the AH-64D/E Longbow Apache, MH-47E Chinook and MK-60K Blackhawk Helicopters. NSN: 6605-01-323-9061; AN/ASN-157 Doppler Navigation Set (DNS) Part Number: P510A003-02. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the only approved source is BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration Inc. (CAGE Code 0D0D0). The RFP will result in the award of an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Long Term Contract (LTC) with one 5-year base period and no option periods. The 5-year total Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) for spares is 47, Unit of Issue EA. The 5-year total BEQ for repairs is 280. The BEQs for any resultant IDIQ FFP LTC are provided for planning purposes only, and do not represent a guarantee by the Government. The Government is only obligated to order the guaranteed minimum, which will be available in the forthcoming solicitation. The other applicable NAICS for AN/ASN157 DSN Repair Services is 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. This procurement is not subject to a small business set-aside. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
