- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE 04 May 2016 The USAFE 86 CS hereby formally announces the intent to award a firm-fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis to Eaton Corporation. This is a one-time upgrade purchase. The upgrade requires: Air Force Requirements: QTY Description 1) 6 Eaton Metered Input e-PDU Input Rating: 24A, 100-127VAC, W + N + GND, 50-60 Hz. Only authorized personnel who are familiar with the equipment and electrical configuration are qualified and authorized to complete the work to support the TCF mission. Contractor can assume all of the installation will take place concurrently. Installation includes: • Air Force requirements in rooms 104 & 102 - install a total of 12 each 120 VAC 20A circuits and 12 each Eaton 20A e-PDUs; 2 each 120 VAC 30A circuits and 2 each Eaton 30A e-PDUs. • Air Force requirements in room 103 - install at total of 26 each 120 VAC 20A circuits in thirteen (13) mission equipment racks (two 20A circuits per rack); circuits to be terminated in the mission equipment racks by others. • Sharkseer requirements in room 102 - install a total of 4 each 208 VAC 30A circuits in two (2) mission equipment racks (two 30A circuits per rack); circuits to be terminated in the mission equipment racks on government provided 208 VAC 30A receptacles. • DISA ETI requirements in room 104 - install a total of 8 each 208 VAC 30A circuits in three. Mission equipment racks (two 30A circuits in two racks, four 30A circuits in one rack); install a total of 4 each 208 VAC 50A circuits in one (1) mission equipment rack; 30A circuits to be terminated in the mission equipment racks on government provided 208 VAC 30A receptacles; 50A circuits to be terminated in the mission equipment racks by others. • DISA IAP requirements in room 102 - install at total of 18 each 120 VAC 20A circuits in four. Mission equipment racks; circuits to be terminated in the mission equipment racks on government provided 120 VAC 20A receptacles; install at total of 2 each 120 VAC 20A circuits and 2 each 120 VAC 30A circuits with 2 each Eaton 30A e-PDUs in one (1) mission equipment rack; 20A circuits to be terminated in the mission equipment rack on government provided 120 VAC 20A receptacles; 30A to be terminated on Eaton 30A e-PDUs. This notice of intent is NOT a request for quote; however, all interested persons that identify to the Contracing Officer their intent and capabilities to satisfy the Government's requirement with commercial items and are received within 15 days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
