- Question: In Part 1, Section B, Supplies or services. All line items list FOB as Source. However in Section F, Deliveries. The government has incorporated FAR 52.247-34 for FOB Destination. Could the USAF clarify the freight status? Answer: 52.247-34 will be removed. FOB is at source per Section B, Supplies or Services. Question: Part 1, Line item 001 The government requirement is for three different installations, which comprise of different components, all of which effect the unit pricing. Can the government separate the line item to allow separate pricing of each configuration? Answer: Government will maintain CLIN 0001 configuration as written. Question: Part 1 Optional Line Item 1002, The government requirement is for two different installations, which comprise of different components, all of which effect the unit pricing. Can the government separate the line item to allow separate pricing of each configuration? Answer: Government will maintain CLIN 1002 configuration as written. Question: A fit event was discussed at Industry Day, which would allow vendors to access all configurations and corresponding TOs. Will the AF allow vendors to access these configurations at least three weeks prior to RFP response? Answer: While the Government previously considered offering this opportunity, it is not the intent of the Government to allow access to any configurations or TOs prior to RFP release. All vendors had the opportunity to inspect configurations and verify fitting on 18-26 Sep 2014 at Randolph AFB date. The configurations and specifications have not changed since the fit verification on 18-26 Sep 2014. In order to ensure that the beacons fit within the given configurations, the Government will be conducting Fit Verifications as outlined in Section L.
