- Market Survey/Sources Sought Notice Fabrication Equipment Maintenance and Repair Services W15QKN-16-X-050U NAICS: 811310 PSC: 4940 Anticipated Post Date: May 2, 2016 Response Date: May 16th 2016 The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ), on behalf of the U.S. Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center's (ARDEC) Advanced Materials Branch (RDAR-MEE-M), is conducting a Market Survey to identify potential sources for the maintenance of the following Government Owned Trumpf Equipment: 1. Government Owned Trumpf Bend V130 Metal Bender 2. Government Owned Trumpf Trumatic L3050 Laser The Services shall provide training, preventive maintenance services and emergency repairs for Trumpf metal fabricating equipment. These products, and services support the existing prototype hardware manufacturing capability used by ARDEC prototyping mission. In order to support customer requirements and the need for on-going operations, it is critical that these specialized tools and services are readily available. This support will also provide the necessary products required for services and repairs in the following capabilities. Operator training, repair, regular preventive maintenance and repair parts acquisition associated with the Government Owned Trumpf specialty metal parts fabricating equipment used in support of the ARDEC, Manufacturing Technology Center's mission requirements. 1. The required services may include but not limited to: 1.1. Regular preventive maintenance, installation on Government Owned Trumpf equipment 1.2. Emergency repairs, replacement of parts on Government Owned Trumpf equipment 1.3. Spare part sales, and replacement parts for Government Owned Trumpf equipment 1.4. Sales and support/training of TOPPS series of Government Owned Trumpf CAM software for lasers and press brakes. Firms/companies are invited to indicate their interests by providing specifications, brochures, manuals, reports, demonstration video and other technical data as well as identification of current customers and any available GSA or other Federal Supply Schedule contract vehicles. In addition, please provide the firm's name and address, point of contact with telephone number and email address, and size of business (small/large) per the listed NAICs. This market survey is for information and planning purposes only; it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government implies no intention or opportunity to acquire funding to support current or future efforts. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this market survey. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of this market survey. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey.
