- Repair HVAC Bldg 526 SYNOPSIS SYNOPSIS/PRESOLICITATION NOTICE THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This announcement constitutes only the pre-solicitation notice; bids will be requested and a written solicitation will be issued on or around 17 May 2016. Bids will be due approximately 30 calendar days after the solicitation is posted. Solicitation number FA4600-16-B-0002 is being issued as an INVITATION FOR BID (IFB). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-80. All applicable provisions and clauses are included in the actual solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220, and the small business size standard is $15,000,000.00. This solicitation is 100% set-aside to Small Business concerns. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price construction contract with a Period of Performance (PoP) of 182 calendar days. This project consists separating B526 from the campus chilled water loop and replace the existing HVAC systems, equipment, and piping with new per the specifications and drawings while upgrading electrical as indicated. B526 is a three story building, former dormitory that has been modified and is currently being used as office space, approximately 75 rooms. Project magnitude is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Funds are not presently available; no award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation either before or after the closing date for receipt of propsals. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. All contractors shall be System for Award Management (SAM.GOV) registered at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Contractors must be registered in the SAM.GOV database before a contract can be awarded to your company. NO PARTIAL BIDS WILL BE CONSIDERED. NO PARTIAL AWARDS WILL BE MADE.
