This solicitation VA246-15-Q-1097_3_MOD_1 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. No telephone requests will be accepted. Only completed SF1449 Solicitations received directly from the requester are acceptable. It is the Offeror's responsibility to ensure that the quote is received. The anticipated award date is October 1, 2016. The Department of Veterans Affairs, 1100 Tunnel Road, Asheville, NC 28805, is seeking Off Site Beneficiary Lodging for the period of October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017, with a possibility of four options years. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 72110, Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels. This procurement is a competitive total set-aside for Small Business (SB). Site must be within ten (10) miles from the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville, NC. If offeror has a FSS/GSA contract, please include it in your offer. All questions must be emailed to Lori.Miller@va.gov and Evelyn.Ligon-Moton@va.gov, NLT May 5, 2016 at 2PM. Please reference Asheville Off Site Beneficiary Lodging, so that they can be posted and answered via FBO and visible to all interested parties. All interested parties responding to this notice shall include: company name, address, point of contact, phone number, DUNS number (www.dnb.com), list of available services, the geographical location in relation to the Asheville VAMC, and a list of the respondent's establishment's certifications from private, State and/or local agencies. Facsimile responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received in writing no later than 2PM, May 12, 2016.
