Description
Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Financial Services Center Continuity Alternate Worksite Seating This is a Sources Sought Notice (SSN) and not a solicitation. The purpose of this SSN is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist to fulfill the requirement described below and to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or set aside for small business. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy. The government requests that interested parties indicate Business Size based upon NAICS - 541513 (Computer Facilities Management Services) and provide their GSA Schedule Number, if applicable. Scope of Work: The Financial Services Center (FSC) requires location-based services that will ensure the FSC is capable of providing continuity of services for its operations, including alternate workspace for personnel and tenants, in the event the FSC building is damaged or otherwise cannot be occupied. The Continuity of Operations (COOP) Alternate Worksite shall be available for testing four periods each of eight hours, for a total of 32 hours annually. The building shall be located more than five miles from, but within a 50-mile radius of, 7600 Metropolis Drive, Austin, TX 78744. The contractor shall provide all services, equipment, facilities, and materials to ensure COOP Alternate Worksite services are provided within configuration and performance standards. A location capacity of 250 furnished workstations shall be available 24x7, 365 days a year. Contractor's key personnel shall be available by phone or pager 24 hours/day to facilitate declaration of an emergency. Additional requirements include: "Workstations, each with desk, chair, phone, and computer: "Specifications equivalent to or exceeding : Core i5 CPU, 4GB Mem, 500GB Disk, Gigabit Ethernet, DVD-RW, 19" Digital Display) (1 DVI/l TV-out)/19" Monitor/Optical 2-Button Scroll Mouse/SATA Disk Controller/8MB of Disk Cache/Keyboard with Smart Card Reader). "Phone system with voice mailbox, automatic call distribution (ACD), call scripts, call queues, transfer/redirect, and supervisor service. "Six laser printers and three multifunction printer/fax machines. "Data connections (T3 VPN or better) supporting the workstation capacity. "Conference room space for up to 25 people with four phones, one conference phone, a white board and 12 internet connection outlets (internet connectivity). Instructions: Interested firms responding to this SSN must provide a capability statement demonstrating their skills and capability to fulfill each of the requirements listed above. In addition to addressing the requirements listed above, respondents shall provide the address of the alternate site. All respondents are requested to identify their firm's size and type of business. The capability statement shall be in sufficient enough detail, but not to exceed 3 pages. Responses must be submitted via email to Jacky Jean-Jacques at jacky.jean-jacques@va.gov by 12:00 NOON Eastern Time on May 2, 2016.
