Description
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to contract using other than full and open competition for parking services at local Houston Airports. TSA current requirement is as follows: 1. Parking at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and William P. Hobby International Airport (HOU) for a maximum of 200 privately-owned automobiles per month. 2. The parking must be onsite at the airport and accessible on a twenty-four hours-per-day, seven days-per-week basis including weekends and holidays. 3. The distance between the entrance to the parking area(s) and the airport facility must be within one-half of fa mile and no greater than a fifteen minute walking distance. Accordingly, TSA intends to award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contact to New South Parking Texas for this requirement. New South Parking Texas can meet this requirement as they are the parking provider at both IAH and HOU. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotes received within 7 calendar days of the publication date of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. The Government will notify parties of the outcome of any quote submitted in response. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
