Description

THIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. Under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(2), the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to award, on a sole source basis, a contract to KBA Nota-Sys, Inc. The BEP has a requirement for spare part ELP1438, Light Bars for AFX & IV COLORSAVE. These spare parts are critical to the operation of the Large Examining Printing Equipment (LEPE) nos. 64601001 and 64601002. These parts are proprietary and obtainable from KBA Nota-Sys, Inc. only. A determination by the Government to compete this is contract requirement based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties who believe they possess the capability to satisfy this requirement should submit documentation that clearly demonstrates their capability. Response to this notice shall be received by April 28, 2016 11:00 AM EST. All responses must be in writing only, via email, to the point of contact(s) in this notice. Any cost associated with the preparation and submission of data or information or any other costs incurred in responding to this notice is the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
