- This project is set-aside for Total Small Business. Description The NAICS code for this project is 115310 (Support Activities for Forestry. The small business size standard is no greater than $7.5 million in average annual receipts. Only offers from firms that are certified to meet both Total Small Business status and the size standard will be considered. You may contact your local U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) office (federal, not state office) for more information on the Total Small Business program. Your local SBA office's contact information may be found by accessing the SBA website (www.sba.gov). The purpose of this contract is to secure services for vegetation control treatment in and around young conifer plantations. The specified treatment will be the foliar application of herbicide mixtures from backpack sprayers to target vegetation using a shielded directed spray technique. A site visit is scheduled for May 10th at 9:00 a.m. at The Amador Ranger District Office. See solicitation for details. The request for quotes will be uploaded when ready, approximately April 21, 2016. The date of award is expected to be within 30 days after the actual response date, which will be stated in the package and possibly changed in one or more amendments. Please hold any technical questions until after review of the solicitation. The technical contact information will be listed in the solicitation. The purpose of this notice is to meet the FAR 5.201 It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the Federal Business Opportunities website for amendments.
