Description
AMENDMENT NO. 0001 THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO CHANGE THE NAICS CODE FROM 811219 (OTHER ELECTRONIC AND PRECISION EQUIPMENT REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE; SIZE STANDARD $20,500,000.00) TO 541330 (ENGINEERING SERVICES; SIZE STANDARD $15,000,000.00). ADDTIONALLY, THE REQUIREMENT IS EXTENDED TO APRIL 26, 2016 AT 2:00 P.M. SEE ATTACHED AMENDMENT 0001 FOR FURTHER DETAILS. THIS IS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The contractor is to furnish all labor, equipment, and materials to provide services to verify, inspect, and test equipment of above ground storage tanks (ASTs) and underground storage tanks (USTs) containing petroleum fuel located at the Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR) Richmond, Virginia. This is to be an annual inspection to ensure valves, switches, probes, and overfill prevention equipment is operating properly so it will minimize the risk of petroleum releases to the environment. The Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) has developed Recommend Practices to be used by industry for verification, inspection, and testing of overfill prevention systems. The Steel Tank Institute (STI) has developed annual Standards for Inspection to be used by industry for the testing of anti-siphon valves, solenoid valves, and electrical shutoff switches. This requirement will be for a base year and four option years. The NAICS code for this requirement is 811219 and the size standard is $20,500,000.00.
