- The Army Contracting Command, Warren Michigan, in support of the Light Armored Vehicles (LAV) Program Manager, is seeking sources that can provide Field Service Representative (FSR) support to perform operation troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and testing of the Improved Thermal Sighting System (ITSS) (including the fire control system and Far Target Locator with North Finding Module), the Modified Improved Target Acquisition System (MITAS), and the Tube-Launched, Optically-Tracked, Wire-Guided (TOW) II weapon sighting system for Saudi Arabian Ministry of National Guard (MNG) Light Armored Vehicles (LAV) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) for a period of four months. The Government does not own the technical data packages associated with the MNG LAVs (proprietary to Raytheon, Mckinney TX). It is the Government's intent to award a sole-source Firm Fixed Price modification to existing contract W56HZV-12-C-0285 with Raytheon. The Government, at the discretion of the Contracting Officer, will determine how to complete the proposed requirement based on market research and responses to this Sources Sought Notice. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. If you feel your company is capable of performing FSR support, Deprocessing Training, and I&KP Training for MNG LAVs, please provide the following information: 1. Your company's technical knowledge of MNG LAVs. 2. A detailed explaination of how your company intends to troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and testing of the ITSS, MITAS, and TOW II in KSA. 3. The estimated price required to fund your company's approach. 4. Please limit response to no more than ten pages. Disclaimer This Sources Sought Notice is for informational purposes only. Responses in any form are not considered offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. Funds are NOT available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this technical description is strictly voluntary. Respondents WILL NOT be notified of the results of this sources sought survey. If and when a solicitation is issued, it will be posted on www.fedbizopps.gov. It is the respondent's responsibility to monitor these sites for the releases of any synopsis or solicitation. Please also provide your company business size, active SAM information, and references of your company's capabilities, etc. Submissions shall be emailed to Contract Specialist, Alicia Patrick at alicia.p.patrick2.civ@mail.mil by COB 13 May 2016, 4:00 p.m. EDT. No late submissions will be reviewed.
