Description

Single Source Justification. NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD - The 325th Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price purchase order to Meggitt Defense Systems Inc. for thirty (30) Visual Augmenters. Quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be used. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1 and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. The Government believes this is a sole source requirement; however, vendors that feel they can fulfill this requirement should contact the POCs identified in this notice. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334511 with a size standard of 750 employees.
