- NOAA is interested in leasing approximately 95,000 - 99,000 ANSI BOMA square feet of aircraft hangar space, office space, and related facilities for aircraft flight preparation, aircraft component storage, administrative support and aircraft repair shop space for the Aircraft Operations Center (AOC). The approximate requirements include: 58,000 ANSI BOMA square feet of hangar space with sufficient clearance for a 38 foot tail (see below); 18,000 to 19,000 ANSI BOMA square feet of office space; with the remaining space to be used for equipment, testing and part/material storage. The lease shall include adjoining parking for at least 110 vehicles. • The offered space shall be contiguous and located within an FAA approved and FAA towered airport. • The airport shall have at a minimum 8000 feet of runway. • The hangar must be capable of housing (fully enclosed) NOAA's two (2) Lockheed WP-3D Orion (P-3) aircraft which have a 38' tail height. • Hangar and ramp must support full load of NOAA's tandem gear (dual wheel) 135,000 lb. aircraft (P-3). All services and utilities, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, janitorial services, and landscaping shall be included as part of the rental consideration. Space offered shall: i) conform to current State and Federal Fire and Life Safety Standards; ii) comply with the Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standards (ABAAS); and iii) be asbestos-free. The hangar facilities and use of the adjacent parking areas must be accessible to government personnel 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Lease Term: The lease term shall be a maximum of 10 years. Expressions of Interest should include the following: 1) Building name and address for existing space. 2) Name, address, email address and telephone number of individual to be contacted. 3) Evidence of authority to represent the owner.
