Description

The Department Of Veterans Affairs, Network 15 Contracting Office has a requirement to procure a used 20 foot refrigerated shipping container for delivery to the CMOP facility in Dallas, TX. Vendor shall supply 1 each 20 foot shipping container no older than 2002 to Dallas VA CMOP, 2962 S. Longhorn Drive, Lancaster TX 75134. Container shall be 8 feet wide x 8 feet 6 inches high on the exterior and 17 feet long x 7 feet 6 inches high on the interior. Container shall be delivered and placed in location identified by the CMOP engineering office. Container shall be steel exterior, weather tight and have minimal patching. Interior shall be food grade stainless steel and shall be in good shape with no holes or damaged insulation. Container shall have SS T-rail floor that will support pallet jack or forklift traffic. Unit shall have weather tight lockable double doors. Container shall be equipped with a working Carrier refrigeration unit capable of temperatures between -10 up to 75 degrees F. Unit shall be 460V 3-phase power and be equipped with a 50 foot cord. The Product Code is 8145; the NAICS code for this solicitation is 332999. All small business sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, will be considered by this agency. Submit the RFQ to james.justus2@va.gov. The phone number is 913-684-0136. Solicitation package VA770-16-Q-0271 shall be posted on Fedbizopps on or around April 6, 2016 and will close no later than 4PM on April 20, 2016. No solicitation packages will be mailed. Responses must be concise and be specifically directed to the requirement reference above. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor FedBizOpps for changes or amendments.
