Description

The Orlando VA Medical Center (OVAMC), located at 13800 Veterans Way Orlando, FL 32827 requires a contract to provide long term acute care services to eligible beneficiaries of the OVAMC. The Offeror shall provide acute care for patients with complex needs and possible comorbid conditions requiring mechanical ventilation bed support, and/or Intravenous (IV) Infusion and/or Antibiotic Therapy, and Total Parental Nutrition (TPN) support in an acute hospital setting as specified within the performance work statement (PWS). The anticipated period of performance for this contract will be for one (1) year from May 15, 2016 through May 14, 2017. The solicitation will be prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 12 and evaluated in accordance with the procedures of FAR Part 15. The solicitation document will be issued as Request for Proposal (RFP) VA248-16-R-0608. The procurement will be competed full and open. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 623110 with a size standard of $27.5 million. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available on or about April 11, 2016 at the FedBizOpps (FBO) website: https://www.fbo.gov It is anticipated that the closing date for submission of proposals will be April 25, 2016 at 12:00 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST). Any amendments or additional information issued to this solicitation will also be available at the FBO website.
