- CORPORATE MICHAEL J. CRESCENZ DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS MEDICAL CENTER LOCATED AT UNIVERISTY AND WOODLAND AVE IN PHILADELPHIA IS SEEKING A QUALIFIED SERVICE DISABLE VETERANS OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) The A/E firm shall provide all investigating surveys and verifications of as-built conditions required to fully develop construction documents for the renovations of the Inpatient Behavioral Health Wards and the Compensation and Pension Clinic located on 7th floor of Building 1. Total space involved is approximately 9.800 square feet consisting of 7 South and portions of the Inpatient Mental Health Wards (7 East/West). This project is 100% set aside for SDVOSB. This A-E Services acquisition is being procured in accordance with the Brooks Act (Public Law 92- 582) and implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36. All submissions will be evaluated in accordance with the evaluation criteria. A "short list" of three or more firms deemed most highly rated after initial source selection will be chosen for interviews. The Government will not pay, nor reimburse, any costs associated with responding to this request. The Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. Firms will be selected based on demonstrated competence and qualifications for the required work. THE NAICS (NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM) CODE IS 541310. Before a SDVOSB is proposed as a potential contractor, they must be certified by VETbiz (www.vetbiz.gov) and registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Register via the SAM internet site at www.sam.gov Failure of a proposed SDVOSB to be certified by the CVE at the time the SF 330 is submitted shall result in elimination from consideration as a proposed contractor.
