Description

CORPORATE MICHAEL J. CRESCENZ DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS MEDICAL CENTER LOCATED AT UNIVERISTY AND WOODDLAND AVE IN PHILADELPHIA IS SEEKING A QUALIFIED SERVICE DISABLE VETERANS OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) The A/E firm shall provide all investigating surveys and verifications of as-built conditions required to fully develop construction documents for the renovation of the 1st floor corridors and elevator lobby areas with upgrades finishes of similar quality to the main entrance of Building 2 and new main entrance of Building 1. The upgrade will incorporate the replacement of all of the existing flooring within the area of work, inclusive of the terrazzo tile and poured floors. This project is 100% set aside for SDVOSB. This A-E Services acquisition is being procured in accordance with the Brooks Act (Public Law 92- 582) and implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36. All submissions will be evaluated in accordance with the evaluation criteria. A "short list" of three or more firms deemed most highly rated after initial source selection will be chosen for interviews. The Government will not pay, nor reimburse, any costs associated with responding to this request. The Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. Firms will be selected based on demonstrated competence and qualifications for the required work. THE NAICS (NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM) CODE IS 541310.. Before a SDVOSB is proposed as a potential contractor, they must be certified by VETbiz and registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Register via the SAM internet site at www.sam.gov Failure of a proposed SDVOSB to be certified by the CVE at the time the SF 330 is submitted shall result in elimination from consideration as a proposed contractor.
