- **PLEASE READ: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. NO OTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE UNTIL THE SOLICITATION IS ISSUED ON THE DATE IDENTIFIED** PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Solicitation Documents: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) requiring both price and technical proposal described in Section M. Documents will only be available electronically to download from this website on or about April 7, 2016. Description: The work of this Contract is to expand the current engine garage at the Mule Creek Guard Station. The work shall include saw cutting the concrete apron and asphalt pavement to excavate and pour a new concrete strip footing; frame new exterior walls; tear off the old roof including framing; provide new trusses and install them; and install new roofing on the entire building. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, tools, supervision, materials and any necessary incidentals to accomplish work on this project. Location: The Mule Creek Guard Station (40˚ 51' 43" N, 122˚ 48' 58" W) is located off of Highway 3 on Rainer road, approximately 17 miles North on Highway 3 from Weaverville, CA 96041, Trinity County, at elevation 2,680 feet. Price Range: $25,000 to $100,00 Contract Time: 120 Calendar Days Estimated Start Date: 15 Jun 2016 Set-Aside: This project is 100% Small Business set-aside Response Location: Offers will be accepted at the Northern California Acquisition Service Area, Redding Office, located within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest Headquarters at 3644 Avtech Parkway, Redding, CA 96002 NO LATER than time and date indicated on solicitation. SAM REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. SAM is a consolidation of the former Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and On-line Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) databases.
