Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center San Diego intends to issue a sole source modification of contract N00244-14-C-0025 in accordance with FAR Part 12 to eDataTech Inc.; 700 Tesoro Road, Monterey, CA 93940-7626. The proposed modification action is for the acquisition of an increase of effort in two major components of added functionality to the Python system, which are �thesis tracking � and �capstone assessment projects. � Please see attached Justification and Approval (J and A) document attached. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302(b)(1). eDatatech �s complete knowledge of all previous system enhancements, the Thesis Tracking Module, database tables and those associated relationships, and understanding of the current processes unique to the NPS �s graduate and military specific educational environment as it relates to the functionality of Python led them to be the sole source vendor. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available. The NAICS code is 541511. Interested parties shall submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement via e-mail. Requests must include company name, address, POC name, telephone number, fax number, county, CAGE Code, DUNS number, NAICS code, applicable business size, and Tax ID number. Responses are due by Friday, April 15, 2016 2:00 PM, Pacific Time, via email only. If no responses are received, FLCSD will proceed with the sole source modification.
