Statement of Work Dental Hand Held X-Ray Equipment Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System New Orleans, LA 02/02/2016 1.PURPOSE 1.1The purpose is to provide 7 hand held portable x-ray units for the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS), 2400 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119. 2.SCOPE 2.1The Contractor shall provide all listed equipment. All products must meet all salient characteristics defined in this section. 2.2SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS 2.2.1Nomad Pro 2 Hand Held X-Ray Unit Suggested Manufacturer Brand Name: ARIBEX, Model Nomad Pro 2, ARU-07P2, OR EQUIVALENT as follows: Specifications/Salient Characteristics: "Portable x-ray unit "Unit must be rechargeable "Weight can be no more than 6 pounds "For use in hospital or clinical settings "Minimum One year warranty "External backscatter shield required "Internal radiation shielding required "Icons for use in tooth identification "Less than.5mm focal spot required "High frequency 60kV DC "Battery must be capable of capturing hundreds of images from one battery charge "Battery incorporated into the handle "Battery icon to display charge levels preferred "Exposure time range 0.02-100s "Source to skin distance 20cm maximum 2.2.2Size 2 Digital X-Ray Sensor Suggested Manufacturer Brand Name: KODAK CARESTREAM, Part Number RVG 6100 5154810, OR EQUIVALENT as follows: Specifications/Salient Characteristics: "Size 2 digital x-ray sensor "Sensor technology CMOS, Scintilator, Optical fiber "Sensor matrix pixel range must be 1400 x 1900 pixels minimum "26.6 x 35.5mm sensor active surface dimensions "Gray scale minimum of 4000 bits for image clarity 2.2.3 Size 1 Digital X-Ray Sensor Suggested Manufacturer Brand Name: KODAK CARESTREAM, Part Number RVG 6100 5154828, OR EQUIVALENT as follows: Specifications/Salient Characteristics: "Size 1 digital x-ray sensor "Sensor technology CMOS, Scintilator, Optical Fiber "Sensor matrix pixel range must be 1200 x 1600 pixels minimum "22.2 x 29.6mm sensor active surface dimensions "Gray scale minimum 4000 bits for image clarity 3.DELIVERY 3.1Contractor shall deliver all equipment to the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) Campus, 2400 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119 no later than August 3, 2016. 3.2Deliver materials to job in manufacturer's original sealed containers with brand name marked thereon. 3.3Package to prevent damage or deterioration during shipment, handling, and storage. 3.4Maintain protective covering in place and in good repair until delivery is necessary. 3.5Any government requested delayed delivery up to 90 days after initial award delivery date, shall be at no additional cost to the Government. 3.6A pre-delivery meeting will be conducted 60 days prior to initial award delivery date for verification of delivery. 4.INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE: 4.1The Contractor shall conduct a joint inspection with the COR upon delivery of tools. 5.DELIVERABLES 5.1Operation and Maintenance Manuals 5.1.1Binders - Quantity (2) each for items 2.2.1-2.2.3 5.1.2Digital Copies- Quantity (1) each for items 2.2.1-2.2.3 5.2Deliver compilation of all manufacturer recommended maintenance schedule and operation materials packaged in binder(s) to COR upon completion of installation. 6.SECURITY REQUIREMENTS 6.1The Authorization & Accreditation (A&A) requirements do not apply and a Security Accreditation Package is not required. 7.WARRANTY: 7.1The contractor shall provide all manufacturers' warranty with products upon delivery.
