- Description: Furniture Reconfiguration, Relocation, Warehousing, Moving Services This is a Combined Synopsis Solicitation for commercial items and will be conducted in accordance FAR Part 13.5. This procurement is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. Quoters shall sign, fully complete, and submit the completed RFQ document and include any additional technical responses, attachments, certifications being requested therein. The purpose of this Solicitation is to acquire furniture reconfiguration, installation, relocation, warehousing, and moving services for Government property in support of the Miami VA Healthcare System. It is the intention of the Government to solicit via RFQ VA248-16-Q-0589, NAICS Code: 484210 in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, and schedules of the solicitation and award a contract on a competitive basis. The contract resulting from the solicitation shall be a Firm Fixed Priced Requirements contract. In an effort to meet the green initiative, documents shall be submitted electronically via email. Each email submission shall not be more than five (5) megabytes in size. Quotes submitted by any other means other than emailed will not be accepted. The electronic solicitation is hereby announced on this 25th day of the month of March 2016. The offeror shall be responsible for downloading all solicitation documents/amendments from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website (www.fbo.gov) without further notice from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Interested firms must be fully registered and active in the SAM database www.sam.gov. All correspondence and any and all questions or Requests for Information (RFI's) must be submitted via email to: Ogniel.Alvarez@va.gov. Any correspondence by any other means will not be accepted. The Contracting Officer is Dian E. Williams. Any and all questions or RFI's are due by 5 April 2016 at 11:00am EST.
