Description

This notice is provided to inform all potential candidates to provide proposals at this time for the Community Living Center Minor Construction Project. The Veterans Integrated Service Network #04 (VISN 04) Contracting Office / Erie Veteran Administration Medical Center issues the attached Request for Proposal (RFP) and intends to award a single, firm fixed-price contract for Construction Services related to the construction of the Community Living Center Minor project located at the Erie VA Medical Center, 135 East 38th Street, Erie PA 16504. All construction must be in compliance with applicable codes, VA policy/standards, and the terms of this solicitation and resultant contract. The contractor shall provide all tools, travel, trades, labor, materials, permits, licenses and supervision for construction of the Community Living Center project as indicated in drawings and specifications. Work includes general construction, alterations, roads, walks, grading, drainage, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, water storage facilities, necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items. Proposals are due 2:00 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) on May 05, 2016 in accordance with the attached solicitation. A Site Visit is planned for Thursday, April 07, 2016 at 11:00 am EST. Meeting will be held in the Main Hospital Building, Conference Room #3. All candidates arriving for the site visit MUST check in with the Security Office located in the entrance to the Emergency Care Clinic. This project is being solicited as a TOTAL 100 % SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 236220, with a small business size standard of $36.5 million in annual receipts for the past three years. The Magnitude of Construction cost is between $5,000,000.00 to $10,000,000.00.
