- This Notice of Intent is not a request for proposals. This notice of intent is for informational purposes only; therefore, no solicitation will result from this announcement. However, all responses received prior to the closing date of this notice will be considered by the Government. The Peace Corps intends to award a sole source modification (i.e., contract action) to Seven Corners Inc. for the continued support of health care claims adjudication services for Invitees, Volunteers and Returned Volunteers. For these services, Peace Corps is self-insured. On an annual basis, Seven Corners processes approximately 17,000 claims for services performed both by United States and international medical professionals. Contract PC-12-3-002 was awarded to Seven Corners Inc. in December 2011 using full and open competitive procedures and is scheduled to expire on December 31, 2016. The period of performance for this action is from March 2016 to the expiration of PC-12-3-002. Actions are underway to conduct a competitive follow-on procurement for this requirement. It is anticipated that the award of a new contract for health care claims adjudication will be awarded before the expiration of PC-12-3-002. The contract action will be awarded pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. Based on the above information, the only technically acceptable source is Seven Corners, Inc. SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: Submission of any information in response to this notice is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), all capability statements received within the closing date and time of this notice will be considered by the Government. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly be able to provide services outlined above. A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. As previously identified, this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Capability statements must be in writing, submitted via e-mail to the Contracting Officer at mshivers@peacecorps.gov. The e-mail shall contain the following subject line: Response to Notice of Intent PC-16-R-006 - Modification.
