Description

Schedule of Supplies/Services (SOSS) Statement of Work (SOW) Solicitation (RFQ) The US Coast Guard (USCG), Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC), Medium Endurance Cutter Product Line (MECPL) requires Main Diesel Engine (MDE) technical support to perform a top end overhaul of the No. 2 MDE on USCGC DAUNTLESS (WMEC 624). This work effort will include the renewal of turbocharger, all cylinder heads, all high pressure fuel pumps, fuel nozzles, fuel supply pump, jacket water and raw water pumps. All specialty tools needed to complete this work are the responsibility of the contractor. The USCG will provide all parts necessary to complete this task. The contractor shall provide all special tools, technical oversight, and supervision of Coast Guard personnel to ensure the proper and timely completion of a top end overhaul of the MDE on the 210 & 270 class vessels. The performance period shall be 29 consecutive calendar days. The contractor shall ensure that all MDE overhauls are performed in accordance with OEM and Coast Guard Technical Publications. The contractor shall provide a detailed inspection report for each overhaul using Coast Guard Technical Publication 3903 as guidance.
