Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Beckley, West Virginia, has a need for a contractor to furnish all permits, services, materials, labor, supervision, managements, management support, transportation, supplies, and equipment required to provide waste removal and training in the following areas: hazardous, pharmaceutical, universal, non-hazardous liquid chemicals, and mixed hazardous and infectious waste. The contractor shall provide disposal services, training, program development, emergency spill response, and lab-pack service for Beckley VA Medical Center (VAMC). The medical center is defined as the main hospital in Beckley, WV and two community based outpatient clinic (CBOC) in Ronceverte and Princeton, WV. Additionally, the contractor shall provide annual training to a maximum of fifty (50) employees per year at the main Medical Center. The contractor shall identify strategies and options to reduce the waste streams identified by ten percent (10%) each year. The contractor should incorporate reduction through recycling, redistributing, recovery, purchasing alternatives, and any additional innovative techniques. The NAICS code is 562112. Size Standard is $38.5M. Contract period will be from date of award to September 30, 2016, plus four (4) twelve month renewable option periods. This will be a requirements firm fixed price contract. The procurement will be conducted utilizing the commercial item procedures of FAR 12 in conjunction with FAR 13. Solicitation packages will be available after March 23, 2016. Quotations will be due on or about April 7, 2016. Faxed or electronic offers will not be accepted. Solicitation documents may be obtained electronically at www.fedbizopps.gov No hard copies will be provided.
