- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) intends to award a Full and Open, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) contract to develop and deliver three (3) prototype Generator and Switchboard Systems for Improved Navy Lighterage System (INLS)-class vessels, as well as for the integration/installation service of the systems and the drawings associated with the prototypes. Two (2) of the Systems will be installed on either a Warping Tug (WT) or Causeway Ferry Power Module (PM). The crafts are identical in relation to the power system; the final determination will be based on craft availability at the Government's discretion. The third System will be installed on a Beach Module (BM). The new System shall, at least, meet the current system's capability with a higher level of dependency. Solicitation Number N64498-16-R-5019 will be released O/A 25 April 2016, closing date O/A 24 June 2016. The annotated closing date for this solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. During the solicitation phase an Industry Day will be held between the dates of 16 May 2016 and 27 May 2016, located within the United States Marine Corps Blount Island Command (BIC), 5880 Channel View Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32226. After receiving interested parties travel schedules, the site visit schedule will be determined. Additional information pertaining to the site visit will be in the solicitation.
