Description

In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to enter into a single source contract award with Pro-Aim Americas LLC for the purchase of one (1) Zeiss HFA 3 Model 860 for the Eugene Health Care Center. This procurement is via purchase request 653-16-2-971-0022. The anticipated award date is March 22, 2016. The new Zeiss HFA 3 Model 860 must be compatible with the existing Zeiss-Humphrey equipment currently owned by the Department of Veterans Affairs. Zeiss equipment only interfaces with Zeiss, therefore no other make or model will meet the requirement of the Government. Pro-Aim Americas LLC is the only authorized small business distributor of Zeiss ophthalmic instrumentation to the Department of Veterans Affairs and US Military Facilities. Therefore, Pro-Aim Americas LLC is the only vendor that can meet the needs of the Department of Veterans Affairs.
