Description
DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS DESIRES TO LEASE SPACE The Department of Veterans Affairs desires to lease approximately 9,989 to 10,489 contiguous net usable square feet of office and related space in Orange City, Florida. New and Existing buildings will be considered. However, If not a New Building, the Space offered shall be in a Building that has undergone, or will undergo, by occupancy, a complete modernization or adaptive reuse of the Space with modern conveniences. The space must be available for occupancy by October 1, 2016, and must be located outside the 100-year floodplain. The lease term requirement must be in full compliance with the requirements of the SFO. The contract base period of performance (POP) will be for 10 Years, 5 Years Firm. Space within or fronting on the following boundaries will be considered: NORTH: E. Minnesota Ave (State Road 472) SOUTH: Saxon Boulevard EAST: I-4 WEST: Sun-Railroad/Magnolia Avenue/Blue Springs Park To be included in initial considerations, interested offerors shall address ALL of the following when responding to this advertisement. 1. Proposed property address with map showing property within the delineated area. 2.Name, phone number and e-mail address of Property Owner. Note, if responding and you are not the property owner, i.e., broker, provide written statement from property owner (owner letterhead) authorizing you to represent the owner. 3.Documentation evidencing that proposed property is outside the 100-year flood plain. 4.Documentation supporting offerors' ability to meet all the Government's requirements identified in this advertisement. 5.Amount of space offered. 6.Number of parking spaces. 7.Date space is available. A market survey of offered properties will be conducted by VA staff. Interested offerors (owners, brokers, or their legal representatives) should submit site specific information concerning their properties to Javier Correa-Ochoa by e-mail only no later than 3:00 PM on April 6, 2016 at the following: Attention: Javier Correa-Ochoa, Contracting Officer E-mail: javier.correaochoa@va.gov The Government is limited by law (40 USC 278a, as Amended 10-1-81) to pay no more than the appraised fair rental value for space.
