Description
AMENDMENT 0001 to Source Sought Notice. The purpose of this amendment is to respond to questions from industry and to attach additional drawings. The response date is not extended as a result of this amendment. QUESTION 1: What is the projected annual procurement for this item over the life of the contract? RESPONSE 1: The Government will establish a minimum guarantee order quantity during the solicitation phase based on current known usage requirements and available budget. QUESTION 2: With regard to the Subject Solicitation, please let us know if the Government at this time is able to provide any other drawings. RESPONSE 2: The Government is making available the reference drawing 53711-184-6659000 (Active Element Assembly) and associated supporting lower level engineering drawings only, no processing or inspection/test requirement drawings are provided as they are not germane to the Sources Sought notice. The Government wishes to reiterate that this is a build to performance specification solicitation and prospective offerors should not rely on the non-warranted reference drawings for design. No other drawings will be provided. QUESTION 3: Assuming the resulting solicitation will include a First Article requirement; does the Government intend to allow for potential First Article Waiver? RESPONSE 3: The Government will not waive First Article requirements.
