- This is a sources sought notice, not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this notice is for market research purposes; to gain knowledge of potential qualified small businesses. Responses to this sources sought notice will be used by the Government in making appropriate acquisition decisions. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this sources sought. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this notice. This is not a request for proposal and no contract will be awarded from this notice. The Bureau of Land Management, Nevada State Office, will be issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a construction contract to a General Contractor for the Radio site Renovation Project in the Elko District. This project is to address site specific RI CASHE findings and to comply with the requirements of the Motorola R56 Standards and Guidelines for Communication Sites which has been adopted by the BLM. Work includes design and installation of an external grounding system for existing building, ice bridge and tower, installation of new support post for existing ice bridge and installation of chain link fence around the site. The location of this work is on the following mountain peaks within the Elko District, Delano Peak, Knoll Peak, Midas, Spruce Mountain and Mount Tenabo. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. The estimated duration of the project is 240 days for all locations. NAICS code is 237130 with a small business size standard of $36.5 million. All interested small businesses: service disabled veteran owned small businesses, veteran owned small businesses, woman owned small businesses, 8A small businesses, etc. should respond to this notice in writing by email by March 30, 2016 at 1 PM Pacific Standard Time. Information received will be used in any set aside determination. Interested businesses shall respond with the following information: 1. Company name, address, point of contact, phone number, email address, DUNS number and socio-economic category. 2. Companys interest in bidding on the solicitation when issued. 3. Companys bonding capacity. 4. Companys statement of capability to include relevant past experience, provide a list of contract of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 projects your firm has completed in the last 5 years. For each of the projects submitted for experience, provide the title, location, whether prime or subcontractor work, contract or subcontract value, type of contract, contract completion date, customer point of contact and a brief narrative of work performed.
