Description
Draft PWS C4 IT Sources Sought Synopsis 1. Purpose: This sources sought notice is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information from persons, companies, and organizations with a proven track record of success who are interested and capable of providing the services as follows: the contractor shall provide resident support for Command, Control, Communications, Computer, and Information Technology (C4 IT), to include engineering, networking, monitoring, planning, program management, integration, operation, maintenance, information technology, infrastructure, automation, information assurance, computer network defense, and end-user support of the Combined Joint Operations Area-Afghanistan (CJOA-A) level communications and computer networks for the Afghanistan Area of Responsibility (AOR). 2. Information requested- a. Provide a capability statement identifying how your company has the capability to meet this requirement. Your statement should address the following areas: 1. Experience on DoD networks, specifically in regards to DISA STIGs/SCCM/Outlook/Active Directory/Solarwinds 2. Experience in the deployed environment, specifically regarding afghan.swa.army.mil domains 3. DoD 8570 IAT Level III, CCIE, certifications 4. Experience with cross domain solutions, specifically in regards to VTC/mission systems/detecting cross domain violations 5. Experience with Virtualization, VMWARE and supporting tools 6. Audio Visual & VTC experience with CineMassive/Crestron/tandbergs/cisco videoconferencing 7. Cisco Call Manager experience 8. Proven record of establishing/enforcing/improving standard processes to optimize/troubleshoot networks 9. Experience developing/operating SharePoint 2013 and Adobe Connect 10. SATCOM/MLoS management experience b. Identify what type of additional information you would require in order to provide a complete and accurate technical and cost response to a Request for Proposal for these services. 3. Submission instructions: a. Information responses should be from U.S. Contractors only and should not exceed ten pages.. b. The following is a suggested submission organization: i. Cover sheet including the RFI number, company name, CAGE code, address, current Facility Security Clearance, business status including any applicable socioeconomic category, and technical point of contact with email address and telephone number. This cover page will not count against the ten page limit referenced in paragraph (a) above. ii. Responses to the questions in Section 2 of this notice above. iii. No cost or pricing information should be provided. Any cost or pricing information received will be deleted and destroyed. c. Responses will be considered privileged commercial information and protected from disclosure under exemption (b)(4) of the Freedom of Information Act. Responses will not be shared outside the US Government and US Government support contactors. d. Responses will not be returned. e. No classified or For Official Use Only (FOUO) information should be included in your response. f. Please submit responses as a PDF attachment via email to: enes.memic@afghan.swa.army.mil and sherry.a.breton@afghan.swa.army.mil. g. Please place the RFI number for this announcement and only the RFI number in the subject line of your email. All relevant information should be included in the PDF attachment; other information such as the body of the email message will be discarded and not reviewed. You will receive a confirmation that your message has been received. If there is a problem with the attachment submitted, you will be notified and provided an opportunity to re-send. h. Responses should be received by the time posted. Any response received after this date may be considered but may not be included in subsequent refinement of the requirement and development of a solicitation. i. The Government anticipates issuing a solicitation during the 3rd quarter of FY16. Please see the attached Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for anticipated service requirements.
