- TOKETEE SEPTIC REPLACEMENTS The purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing a solicitation numbered AG-04N7-S-16-0017 on or about April 1, 2016, for the TOKETEE SEPTIC REPLACEMENTS at Toketee Ranger Station, Diamond Lake Ranger District, Umpqua National Forest. The solicitation will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective bidders should visit this FedBizOpps website from time to time on or after April 1, 2016, to obtain a copy of the solicitation. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201. PROJECT DESCRIPTION. The U.S. Forest Service, Region 6, Umpqua National Forest has a requirement for septic replacements at the at the Toketee Ranger Station, Diamond Lake Ranger District, Idleyld Park, Douglas County, Oregon. This project includes but not limited to: • Decommissioning one (1) existing 20' x 60' gravity drain field system, constructing one (1) new gravity drain field (exact dimensions TBD), and connecting new drain field system to existing septic at Toketee House #1100. • Decommissioning one (1) existing 36' x 10' sand filter system, constructing one (1) bottomless sand filter (exact dimensions TBD), and connecting new system to existing septic system at Toketee House #1131. Both houses are Government owned single family residences. The Contractor will be responsible for work in compliance with the contract terms, specifications, provisions, and all state and county regulations as established in the DEQ permits obtained by the Government. This includes furnishing labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals. The Contractor is responsible for using DEQ approved materials and installation methods. The Contractor will also be responsible for scheduling all required DEQ inspections. All work is to conform to Oregon Administrative Rules Chapter 340, Division 71 & 73. Work must be done by a licensed sewage disposal service contractor, approved and active on Oregon DEQ website. Contract time is 45 calendar days. The magnitude of construction for this acquisition is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Government intends to award a firm -fixed price contract.. This project is set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 237110. The size standard is 36.5 Million.. A payment bond (100 percent) will be required after award.(over $35,000). The solicitation with specifications and Davis Bacon Contract Act wage rates will be posted to the FedBizOpps website www.fbo.gov. on or about April 1, 2016 Note: prospective awardee shall be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) data base prior to award. Information on registration may be obtained via the internet at: http://www.sam.gov. All contractors and vendors must complete the electronic version of the Representations and Certifications in the SAM system.
