- Description
- The Veterans Affairs (VA), Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) has a requirement to procure an Automated Prescription Fulfillment System (APFS). The contractor shall supply a system that meets the accuracy, timeliness, and quantity demands of the delegated workload of the CMOP. The CMOP requires a contractor to serve as a systems integrator who will design a working APFS, procure all subsystems, and configure the APFS to operate within the existing automated production system database structure. The APFS will be comprised of necessary Tablet/Capsule Automation (TCA), Unit-of-Use Automation (UUA), subsystems, ancillary systems, and conveyance technology. All components shall be fully integrated and functional within VA databases and data structures such that all components operate seamlessly for order fulfillment. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, support, travel and all other items needed to perform services in connection with this activity. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 332999 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. This solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract. The APFS shall perform in accordance with the Performance Work Statement that will be included in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. Only one award will be issued for this solicitation. Solicitation Package VA770-16-R-0207 shall be posted on Fedbizopps on or about April 1, 2016. No solicitation packages will be mailed. Responses must be concise and be specifically directed to the requirement referenced above. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor Fedbizopps for changes or amendments.
