- Maritime Parts List PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisitions Regulation parts 12 and 13 This Request for Quote (RFQ) is being conducted as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. This requirement falls under NAICS code 315990, Apparel Accessories and Other Appareal Manufacturing. The size standard is 500 employees. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-87, Effective March 07, 2016. The RFQ number is 0000067 and shall be referenced on all quotes. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), all-or-none, one-time delivery order for the purchase of Brand Name or Equal Maritime Supplies. Items called for by this RFQ are identified in the synopsis/solicitation by a "brand name or equal" description. Such identification is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive, and to indicate the quality and characteristics of products that will be satisfactory. Quotes offering "Equal" products (including products of the brand name manufacturer other then the one described by the brand name) will be considered if such product is clearly identified in the quote and is determined by the FBI to meet fully the salient characteristic on attached products. Unless the vendor clearly indicates in their quote that they are offering an "equal" product, the quote shall be considered as offering a brand name product referenced in this synopsis/solicitation. If the offeror proposes to furnish an "equal" product, the brand name of the product to be furnished shall be provided in the quote. If an "equal" item is being proposed, then the product specifications must be included with the quote to demonstrate that the proposed item is equal. Offerors are responsible for providing current specifications. All quotes will be considered. If requested by the FBI, each offeror shall submit a sample of the items he/she proposes. * Please Note: For items listed on the maritime parts list, items labeled (1) are brand name only (2) brand name or equal (3) brand name only - Aqua Lunga/US Divers.* Submission Instructions: Responses shall be submitted via electronic submission to Margaret Einspahr at margaret.einspahr@ic.fbi.gov and Tammy Miller at tammy.miller@ic.fbi.gov. The due date for responses to this RFQ is on or before March 17, 2016, at 10:00 am Eastern Time. Responses must be marked as follows: "RFQ 0000067". All questions regarding this requirement must be submitted to Margaret Einspahr and Tammy Miller via email, no later than Monday, March 14, 2016 at 10:00 am Eastern Time. Quotes shall include a point of contact (including phone number, fax number and email address), contractor DUN's number and TIN number. All quotes must be valid for 60 days, 30 day delivery ARO, and Freight on Board (FOB). Terms and Conditions: This RFQ incorporates the provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation Regulation Circular 2005-87, effective March 07, 2016. The provision at FAR clause 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal (Aug 1999) and Clause 52-212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Jul 2013); and addendum are incorporated into this solicitation.
