Description

JA This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. US Army Corps of Engineers - Portland District (NWP), intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price contract to VibroSystm Inc (DUNS: 246489462). The purpose of this acquisition is to provide commissioning and training for the NWP installed VibroSystm Air Gap and Vibration Monitoring System at Bonneville Lock and Dam Project. The statutory authority for this non-competitive acquisition is 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE POSTED. The Government intends to proceed with this sole source action. The NAICS code is 334515, Instrument Manufacturing for Measuring and Testing Electricity and Electrical Signals. The size standard as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration is 750 employees. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. Interested concerns are invited to review the attached justification. Responses and questions may be submitted to the buyer listed with this announcement. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is not responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
