Packard Email: Sherry_packard@nps.gov Description This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number P16PS00686 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for 240 tons of soil stabilizer in accordance with the attached Specifications. This RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-85. This requirement is being procured as a competitive RFQ to all interested vendors for the purpose of entering into a contract. The Government intends to award one firm-fixed price contract using the procedures at FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Technical acceptability will be determined by the offeror ¿s ability to accomplish all tasks identified in the Specifications. The vendor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and possess and maintain a valid Dun & Bradstreet number (DUNS). Technical Acceptability Representatives from Saguaro National Park will evaluate all quotes for technical acceptability. The award will be made to the vendor that provides the lowest price technically acceptable. Delivery Deliver to Saguaro National Park, 3693 South Old Spanish Trail, Tucson, Arizona. Trailers longer than 35 feet or any vehicle wider than 8.5 feet are not permitted on the winding Cactus Forest Loop Drive. Questions Questions and inquiries regarding this RFQ shall be submitted electronically via email to Sherry Packard at sherry_packard@nps.gov. A consolidated list of answers to questions received will be posted via an amendment to this RFQ. Closing Date The closing date for all quotes is 14 March 2016 at 17:00 P.M. EST. Quotes shall be submitted electronically via e-mail to sherry_packard@nps.gov no later than the closing date.
