- Industry Day Tour Map Special Notice W91238-16-S-0218 Industry Day for the Natomas Levee Improvement Construction MATOC ***PLEASE NOTE THE TIME/DATE CHANGE AND THE UPDATED VENUE AS OF 29 FEBRUARY 2016*** TIME/DATE: 8 MARCH 2016 at 0830 (pacific time). VENUE: City Council Chambers (New City Hall) 915 I Street Sacramento, CA 95814 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Sacramento District (SPK) intends to solicit proposals for an, "indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) multiple award task order contract (MATOC)". Tasks associated with this MATOC will focus on construction of levee improvement measures within the greater Central Valley of California, with most of the work focusing on the Natomas Basin, which is part of the Sacramento River Flood Control System. Please see the Sources Sought synopsis identified under "W91238-16-S-0218" for more information and to indicate your interest in this project. This endeavor will require other heavy and civil engineering construction under NAICS 237990. As part of this process, the USACE SPK invites all members of the Heavy Civil and Engineering Construction community to participate in an Industry Day to be held in the Sacramento, CA area. This event will assist the USACE better understand the feasibility of various technical approaches, and provide interested contractors an insight of the contract's possible objectives. The attached site-map plots the route of the site-visit. Before heading out to the site, we will meet at the venue identified above to discuss the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (PTAC) and the service they provide to government contractors free of charge; a general overview of the acquisition and source selection processes, and an overview of the technical aspects regarding this prospective MATOC. I do not anticipate any further updates will be needed, but as before, please stay posted to this page for further updates to this announcements.
