Description
THIS IS A LARGE PROCUREMENT FOR A SINGLE NSN 4730012860282 ITEM. NO OPTION WILL BE EXERSICED. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. The subject requirement is for acquisition of one NSN for the various end items. NSN(s): 4730012860282 Item Description: TEE, QUICK DISCONNECT. Approved sources are: EATON INDUSTRIAL CORPORATION DBA 0DT23 P/N 64022AV LKR, INC DBA RAYCON INDUSTRIES 1WG21 P/N USC202G IAW REFERENCE STD NR MIL-STD-129R REVISION NR R DTD 10/03/2006 PART PIECE NUMBER: SHELF LIFE OF 180 MONTHS Quantity: 631 Unit of Issue: EA Destination Information: FOB Origin to DLA stock locations Delivery Schedule: 140 days after award. Phased deliveries will be considered. The requirement will result in an award of a Firm Fixed price contract. The AMSC code of 3C implies that parts procured under this NSN are requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, and past performance proposals evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The QCC for this NSN is DAF. This solicitation will be issued as a 50% small business set-aside due to the part being available from one large manufacturer and one small manufacturer. Offerors are required to submit proposed firm fixed prices only for the non-set-aside portion (50%). The solicitation for the supplies covered by referenced purchase request(s) will include a 100% option, which may be exercised at time of award should the set-aside portion fail. The non-set-aside quantity is 315 each. Copies of the solicitation will not be available until 15 days after this notice is published in FedBizOpps. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product or the manufacturer meets qualification requirement at time of award, in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1 or 52.209-2. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements and is cited in each individual solicitation. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The Government may utilize on-line Reverse Auctioning as a means of conducting price discussions under this solicitation. By submitting a proposal in response to the solicitation, offerors agree to participate in the Reverse Auction and their prices may be publicly disclosed, including to other offerors, during the Reverse Auction. An offeror's final auction price will be considered its final proposal revision. No price revisions will be accepted after the close of the Reverse Auction, in accordance with FAR 15.307.
