- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b), the Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC) Acquisitions Department intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price (FFP) contract directly to SIMFORMOTION LLC to provide shipment, set-up, training, and assessment on two (2) CATERPILLAR 120M Grader Construction Equipment Virtual Training (CEVT)/Simulator. The award will consist of the following tasks: - The Contractor will coordinate directly with the US Army in packing and shipping the two (2) “ CATERPILLAR 120M CEVTs from Ft Leonardwood, MO to Port Hueneme, CA. starting in May 2016, to arrive in Port Hueneme on or before 09 May 2016. Set up will be done in one day and two-day training will follow sometime during the week of 09-13 of May, 2016. - Provide all labor and materials for the installation and set-up two (2) “ CATERPILLAR 120M Grader Construction Equipment Virtual Trainers (CEVT)/ Simulators into an expandable TRICON or into an appropriate facility sometime during the week of 09-13 May 2016 on board NBVC Port Hueneme, CA. - Provide 2-3 days of training for 8-12 personnel on CEVT use and in extracting performance data for assessment during normal working hours between 0730- 1700 hrs. during the week of 09-13 May 2016. (NAVFAC EXWC in conjunction with NGC1 and NCTC will execute the assessment - which shall be completed within five days during the week of 16-20 May 2016.) Contractor shall provide technical support as needed. - Provide all labor and materials for the packing and freight of two (2) “ CATERPILLAR 120M Grader Construction Equipment Virtual Trainers (CEVT)/ Simulators at Fort Leonardwood, MO. to arrive NBVC Port Hueneme, CA. no later than 09 May 2016. - Provide all labor and materials for the disassembly, re-packing and shipment/freight of two (2) “ CATERPILLAR 120M Grader Construction Equipment Virtual Training (CEVT) from NBVC Port Hueneme, CA to Fort Leonardwood, MO the week of 23-27 May 2016 after the assessment. - Shipping and freight, including insurance, from Fort Leonardwood, MO to NBVC Port Hueneme, CA and vice versa. The CATERPILLAR 120M Grader CEVT Simulators is licensed exclusively for SIMFORMOTION LLC, who developed, designed and manufactured all types of CAT CEVTs/Simulators. The software, technical support, training, installation and packaging of these simulators are specifically designed and solely provided by SIMFORMOTION LLC for Caterpillar. The Clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions “ Commercial Items and the Clause 52.214-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.
