Description

DESC: The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Region Acquisition Division-Kansas City office intends to award, on a sole source basis, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), with Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation for annual technical publication renewal subscription services for the Aircraft Operations Center at MacDill AFB, FL. A Sources Sought Notice was posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website on February 23, 2016 and closed March 01, 2016. No responses were received. Background: NOAA owns and operates one Gulfstream IV (G-Iv) aircraft with the following FAA registration and serial number: N49RF – S/N 1246. The NOAA AOC located at MacDill AFB, Florida manages its G-IV in accordance with FAR Part 91. It is a FAR Part 91 requirement to reference the most current aircraft manuals. The current subscription services expire on March 15, 2016 Requirements: Annual technical publication renewal subscription services for: One (1) CMP.net maintenance tracking system for large cabin aircraft One (1) GIV Maintenance Library CD-ROM Two (2) FAA Flight Manuals (GIV-AFM) One (1) Non-Destructive Testing Manual (GIV-NDT)
