This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals or quotes. General Statement of Need The purpose of this Notice is to obtain information regarding annual Preventative Maintenance and Services for Bayer Healthcare-manufactured MEDRAD Intego PET Infusion System. Purpose The overall purpose of this requirement is to ensure year-round maintenance coverage for this item located on the West Haven Campus of the VA Connecticut Healthcare System. Equipment Medrad Intego, Model # DCS-INTG; Serial #: 100021 Scope All vendors that are capable of servicing MeDRAD equipment must provide the MANUFACTURER'S copy of proof to work on their equipment, as well as certification to work with the specific radiation dosing equipment listed above. Mandatory Tasks and Deliverables All vendors must provide a complete listing of their service days/hours of operation; response time upon calling in for repair; and all terms and conditions regarding materials, labor, and service for MEDRAD equipment. Period of Performance The period of performance is to be an annual contract with one (1) base year and four (4) one year options. Place of Performance VA Connecticut Healthcare System West Haven Campus 950 Campbell Avenue West Haven, CT 06516 Key Personnel We are looking for experts in the maintenance and repair of MEDRAD equipment. Proof must be provided of capable service representatives, and a history of servicing this equipment. Type of Contract This will be a Firm Fixed-Price contract. THIS IS STRICTLY MARKET RESEARCH FOR MARKET RESEARCH This is NOT a Request for Quest (proposals will not be accepted at this time) and does NOT constitute any commitment by the Government. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. The information based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the VA. Responding small businesses should have an active and up-to-date SAM registration and DUNS number. The NAICS code for this service is 811219, with a Small Business size standard size of $20.5 million. All interested vendors must respond by March 6, 2016 by 12 NOON EST. You must submit this information via email to ¨ anna.norcross@va.gov. The information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining how to conduct the procurement process.
