- Pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 2304, the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Regional Health Contracting Office - Central (RHCO-C), San Antonio, TX, intends to issue a sole source award to the Sysmex America, Inc. to purchase Hematology Testing Products and lease the Analyzers. This contract will be supporting William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC), Fort Bliss, TX. Sysmex is the only organization that can provide these products for the Analyzers owned by WBAMC. This notice is not a request for proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability; and specifications within two (2) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Contract Specialist; Ms. Brenda Palmer, brenda.m.palmer.civ@mail.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
