- Description
- The U.S. Government/Coalition Forces have anticipated requirements for a family of tactical High Frequency (HF), Very High Frequency (VHF), Ultra High Frequency (UHF) and Multiband radios, ancillaries, installation kits, spare parts, operation and maintenance training, Field Service Representatives, Site Surveys/Site Preparation, System Installation Services, and Maintenance Support Services. The purpose of this Market Research is to identify interested sources that can provide/manufacture and deliver a family of tactical HF, VHF, UHF and Multiband radios that interoperate with varying types of Harris radios, to include operation with Harris' Citadel© encryption, Sierra II Programmable Encryption©, and Harris Quicklook© electronic counter-counter measures (ECCM) frequency hopping algorithms. Harris radios are being used worldwide and extensively by countries with forces that are deploying to or in Southwest Asia in support of Overseas Contingency Operations. Consequently, the radios to be acquired must interoperate via Harris' Citadel© encryption, Sierra II Programmable Encryption©, and Harris Quicklook© electronic counter-counter measures (ECCM) frequency hopping algorithms. It is anticipated that any Delivery Orders (DOs) that are issued under a planned five year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract, will require initial deliveries within 210 days After Receipt of an Order. Interested sources should furnish the following information in the format provided below: 1. Name and address of company with Cage Code and DUNN's number. Company must be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR). 2. Point of Contact (Name, department, phone number and e-mail) 3. Identify past and current services your company offers that exactly match the capabilities specified. 4. Address your company's capability to act as a single provider for the hardware and services defined herein. Responses are required by 14 March 2016, and must include documented capability to manufacture and deliver a family of tactical HF, VHF, UHF and Multiband radios meeting all of the aforementioned requirements. There is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Any information submitted by respondents is strictly voluntary. This market survey does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP) or a request for sealed bids (IFB), nor does its issuance restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this notice, nor pay respondents for any information that they submit in response to this Sources Sought request. The respondent must show, to the full satisfaction of the US Government, the capability of providing a single solution for the required hardware and services described herein. Acknowledgement of receipt of responses will not be made, nor will respondents be notified of the Governments evaluation of the information received. The response must include documented capability to manufacture and deliver any and all Harris equipment and services. Please submit all responses to the email address provided below no later than 14 March 2016. christopher.j.alcott.civ@mail.mil
