- Solicitation W912ES-16-T-0048 -- GPS Receiver for Dredge This solicitation is for a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver, to be installed on a Government-owned dredge. The system must be professionally installed, tested and fully operational for field observation. The receiver shall be equipped with all necessary antennas, cables, accessories, software and manuals for a fully functional mobile GPS system. The receiver shall be capable of receiving GLONASS information, and be Real Time Kinematic (RTK) compatible. The antennas must be of the "rugged" type, as the dredge is not a stationary vessel. The GPS receiver shall utilize US and GLONASS satellite signals and perform precise 3-dimensional relative (differential mode) vector measurement and positioning, based primarily on carrier phase and integrated Doppler measurements. The GPS system shall be capable of positioning and heading requirements listed in the specifications section. These include: - Accuracy of better than 1 meter in real time differential dynamic mode - RTK mode accuracy of at least 10 cm horizontal and 2 cm vertical - Capable of tracking at least 12 US and GLONASS satellites simultaneously, each on an independent channel.
