Description
Request for Information (RFI) - Tactical Cross Domain Data Guard DUE: 25 APR 2016 The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN), Atlantic is seeking information about commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) tactical data guards for integration into an existing maritime information system. The proposed device shall allow for the bidirectional exchange of xml and binary message sets across classification domains. The device must be based upon hardware, software, and methodologies that are currently approved by an applicable certification authority (e.g. UCDMO listed). The device must support 10/100 Ethernet connectivity and provide throughput up to 10Mbps, with < 10 milliseconds of latency (typical). The vendor must be able to provide configurable rulesets and any associated training. For the purpose of integration into the existing maritime system, the following size, weight and power (SWaP) criteria must not be exceeded: Dimensions: 10 Long x 5 Wide x 2.5 High Weight: 2.00 lbs. Power Draw: 5.0 Watts For environmental purposes, the device will meet the following criteria: Ability to operate in non-pressurized spaces Operating temperatures from -20C to +60C Non-operating temperatures from -40C to +60C Withstand non-condensing humidity from 5 % to 95% Operate from sea level to 28,000 feet Withstand operating shocks to 2.5g, 11ms, sine Withstand non-operating shocks to 10g, 11ms, sine Withstand operating vibrations up to 2 grms, 5-500 Hz random sinusoidal Resistant to externally generated radio frequency interference (RFI) IAW MIL-STD 461F Night Vision Goggle compatible (i.e. no external indicator lights or lights can be disabled) Requested Information: Full product description Size, Weight, and Power IA Maturity o UCDMO listed o TSABI Product o Previous accreditations Sanitization Features Unidirectional vs Bidirectional capabilities Throughput Latency Programmability o Can rulesets be edited locally to accommodate future message changes? o Description of available rulesets and modification techniques Cost o Hardware costs o Include support and fee structure associated with ruleset modification Lead Time Submittals Respondents are required to submit complete product information that demonstrates the specifications identified above.
