Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice (Request for Information). The Government intends to establish multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for Ferry Landing Recreation Area near Oakville, IA, for mowing and trimming services for the US Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District. The associated NAICS code is 561730 and the proposed BPA will be issued as a small business set-aside. The agreement will be issued in accordance with FAR 13.303 and have a valid period of three (3) years from the date the Master Agreement is established. Calls will be placed against the BPA as services are required. The Contractor shall provide all management, tools, equipment and labor necessary to perform mowing and trimming services within three (3) days notification of call order award. Contractor shall maintain the growth of grass height between 3 to 4 inches. Grass and weeds shall be trimmed around trees, shrubs, buildings, fences, poles, posts, fire hydrants, parking lots bumper blocks, boulders, and other fixed obstacles. Trimming heights shall match surrounding area grass height. Interested parties shall reply to Rock Island District Contracting Office VIA EMAIL to Carissa.j.needham@usace.army.mil. TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED. Indicate your interest and/or ability to provide the required title evidence NO LATER THAN 15 March 2016, 10:00 AM Central Time. Vendors must be able to provide 100% of the item(s) listed to be considered for this BPA. A Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) as defined by FAR 13.303(a) is a simplified method of filling anticipated repetitive needs for supplies or services by establishing "charge accounts" with qualified sources of supply. The award of a BPA does not guarantee nor obligate the Government to any orders to a BPA holder in any way. When a requirement for supplies listed within the BPA arises, the Government shall compare prices of all BPA awardees and select the BPA holder that offers the best value to the Government. This should not be construed as a Request for Quote or as an obligation on the part of the Government. The Government does not intend to award a purchase order on the basis of this sources sought or otherwise pay for information solicited.
