Description
The VA intends to award a single Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery and Indefinite Quantity contract to provide Blood Storage Tubes (2D-barcoded matrix tubes) for planned medical studies at the Massachusetts Veterans Epidemiology Research and Information Center section of the Veterans Administration (VA) Boston Health Care System in Boston, MA. The required supplies shall include the following specifications: 1.0 ml volume capacity MATRIX 2D Barcoded Screw Top Storage Tube and Latch Rack, Pre-racked. Permanently attached, laser-etched 2D barcode on bottom of tube. Tube material; virgin class VI medical grade polypropylene. Leak tested. Cap material; virgin class VI medical grade polypropylene with virgin class VI medical grade silicone O-ring. Tube/cap temperature range - 180 °C - 121 °C. Rack material; virgin class VI medical grade polycarbonate with polypropylene latches. Stackable, microplate footprint latch rack. SBS microplate format. Latch rack compatible with automated liquid handling, can be moved robotically for high-throughput applications. The intention of this notice is to seek sources that could potentially provide these services under a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-aside. Firms with interest and capability to respond to this requirement should develop short (1 page or less) narrative capability statement including relevant experience and other information indicating and evidencing capability to successfully meet the aforementioned requirements. Responding to this not does not guarantee any opportunity for the contract, and is only used for VA planning purposes.
