Description

SOURCE SOUGHT SYNOPSIS INSTALL EYEWASH STATION AND HOOD CONSOLIDATED MAIL OUTPATIENT PHARMACY, LEAVENWORTH, KS. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE which serves as a market research tool to obtain information from industry. Only firms who respond to this announcement by submitting the requested information will be considered in determining whether to set-aside this requirement for small business concerns. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS, OR BIDS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED AS A RESULT OF THIS NOTICE. The Government is under no obligation to issue a solicitation as a result of this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought notice or any follow-up information. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this notice. This will be a firm-fixed price construction contract. The construction magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000.00. The construction duration will be approximately 30 calendar days. The anticipated North Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 238990 (All Other Specialty Trade Contractors) with a Business Size Standard of $15 Million. The project consists of providing and installing an eyewash station and welding hood in the engineering workshop area located in the SE corner of the facility. Objectives: "Reduce or eliminate welding fumes "Provide and plumb eyewash station for the engineering workshop area Deliverables: "General Contractor shall provide as built information to A/E "General Contractor shall provide all manuals and warranty information for the eyewash station and welding hood "General Contractor shall be responsible for requesting and providing a work permit from the City of Leavenworth General Requirements & Specifications "All existing conditions to be verified in the field, and not just taken from the supplied drawings "All site visits shall be pre-arranged with the Site POC "The worksite must be left clean with all trash removed Safety: Contractor shall follow all applicable OSHA regulations pertaining to fall protection, ladder safety, overhead work (hard hats), etc. Delivery: 30 days after contract award. Government-Furnished Property: Government shall provide AE drawings and specifications. SUBMISSIONS: Must submit the following at a minimum: 1. Company name, address, phone number, and email address for a point of contact. 2. Company's DUNS Number to verify your business status (Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned SB (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone), Certified 8(a) or Women- Owned Small Business (WOSB). 3. Indicate the primary nature of your business. 4. Percentage of work capable of being performed. 6. Email responses are required and are to be sent via email to Joetta.Eagle@ va.gov, no later than 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, March 2, 2016.
