Description

PRE-SOLICTATION NOTICE FOR ROSTRUM RENOVATION, FORT SCOTT NATIONAL CEMETERY, FORT COTT, KS. (Project Number 893CM3014B) The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration, intends to solicit Bids for a Rostrum Renovation under Information for Bid Number VA-786A-16-B-0037 for the following: PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall completely renovate the Historic Rostrum at Fort Scott National Cemetery in Fort Scott, Kansas. The Contractor shall completely prepare site for construction operations, furnish labor and materials and perform work as required by the Statement of Work (SOW), Drawings and Specifications. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: Between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000. 00. CONTRACT DURATION: Performance period for this requirement is approximately 180 Calendar Days from date of receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). NAICS CODE: 236220 "Commercial and Institutional Building Construction" SIZE STANDARD: $36.5 Million METHOD OF AWARD: THE GOVERNMENT CONTEMPLATES AWARD OF A FIRM FIXED-RICE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT UNDER 100% COMPETITVE SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB). Award will be made on a competitive basis under Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) PART 14, to the responsive and responsible lowest SDVOSB business responding to this solicitation. OBTAINING SOLICITATION MATERIALS: Details of the Invitation for Bid (IFB) may be accessed ONLY via FedBizOpps at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No telephone requests will be accepted. The solicitation and drawings will be released for issue on or about Friday, 11 March, 2016. SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS: Amendments to the solicitation will be up loaded to FedBizOpps. Offers' are reminded that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation prior to the time for receipt of offers.
